NJAEOP Certification In 1965, the NJAEOP
Educational program was launched with relevant adult education courses open to
members in many schools throughout the state. Now, the NJAEOP The PDP is served by a
distinguished Advisory Board (see below) whose members represent important
segments of the educational community. This voluntary program PDP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS *Membership in NJAEOP for TWO (2) Consecutive Years. OPTION I A certificate is available upon successful completion of THREE (3) MANDATED college courses or an Educational Office Specialist certification:
AND A NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE OF $15.00 OPTION II A certificate
is available upon successful completion of THIRTY (30) college credits
which MUST include FIVE (5) MANDATED courses (the three (3) 4. School Law or Education Law
(3 credits) AND A NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE OF $25.00 (OR AN ADDITIONAL $10.00 FEE IF OPTION I HAS ALREADY BEEN RECOGNIZED.) OPTION III A certificate is available upon completion of an Associate Degree or a minimum of Sixty (60) college credits including the above five mandated courses. AND A NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE OF $35.00. (OR AN ADDITIONAL $10 FEE IF OPTION I AND II HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED, OR AN ADDITIONAL $20.00 FEE IF ONLY OPTION I HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED.) *Effective May 1, 1992, a seven (7) year time limit has been established for the evaluation of a course substitution for any of the five mandated course requirements. *Official transcripts of completed courses MUST BE submitted to the PDP Registrar by September 1, 2021 to have a certificate available at the November annual meeting.
